Who Are We?

ExoBraced creates ergonomic solutions for the workplace to help prevent and mitigate musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) which is the main reason for forced early retirement in workers doing physically demanding jobs. After conducting years of market research, ExoBraced has created multiple products to reduce the musculoskeletal impacts of physically demanding jobs. Many occupations leave workers in crippling and chronic pain, with ExoBraced this pain and injury can be avoided. ExoBraced is committed to increasing workers’ quality of life by preventing and reducing musculoskeletal injuries and giving back their lost free time.

Investing in protecting your body is investing in your future and quality of life. Companies have every reason to invest in their employees’ safety because as a result of a reduction in non-fatal injuries, companies can save capital on employees taking fewer days off, and reduce employee turnover. Whether you are an employee or a company, it is wise to take preventative action on debilitating musculoskeletal disorders.

Why is ergonomic investment crucial to the workplace?

U.S. businesses spend over $1 Billion a week on serious, nonfatal workplace injuries.

Effective ergonomic intervention in the workplace can:

  • Reduce musculoskeletal problems by 61%

  • Reduce lost work days by 88%

  • Reduce staff turnover by 87%

ExoBak:

ExoBak is an exoskeleton designed for physically demanding jobs that require a lifting motion. Some applications include workers in the warehouse, manufacturing, construction, logistics, and delivery sectors. This product features posture correction straps and lumbar support that are anchored in our signature exospine. ExoBak’s main feature is using thigh straps connected to interchangeable elastic straps which provide lower back support during lifting and carrying tasks. These elastic straps come in varying strengths to adjust to different needs and different body types.

NuBak:

NuBak is an exoskeletal back brace that is specifically designed for dental professionals such as dentists, dental hygienists, and dental assistants. The device is “patent pending” and consists of an exospine that is shaped like the shape of a human spine and sits on the back comfortably. This encourages the user to maintain a proper upper body posture and would assist the user to get back up to the correct sitting posture if the user bends too much. The device is secured to the body by a set of shoulder straps and one waist strap. The shoulder straps encourage an open upper body posture and they take away a portion of the weight from the arms, transferring it back to the exospine. This in turn reduces pressure on the shoulder muscles, resulting in less fatigue and overuse injury.
